Dear Competitors, I visited the Village again, apart from all the construction work it is great. Everything is coming together the meals, lighting, the track. The course will be marked every 100mtrs in both directions, remember you turn every hour in front of the big clock/lapscorers. (more…)

Caboolture (July 2009) Race Director’s Report

Caboolture Historical Village National 48hr and State 24hr Run/walk Event.

Thursday evening saw a number of competitors and the Historical Village’s President and wife enjoy a delicious three course carbo loading Pre-Event Dinner while mingling and chatting. This is a social way to meet before the hard work starts in the morning. (more…)

Caboolture (July 2009) – Additional Information

In addition to the race details in the entry form, please note that:

  • There is overnight camping available at the venue on Thursday and Sunday nights for $10 per night.
  • The pre-event carbo dinner is held in the dining room behind the hotel at the Historical Village on Thursday night. The cost is $12 per person. This includes the main meal, desert and tea or coffee.
  • Camping or dinner should be noted on the entry form, but as you probably have your entry in by this time please let Geoff know if he’s not yet aware.
