The day started in the dark with five competitors setting off an hour earlier in the 46k event. They were privileged to see a fantastic sun rise over the beautiful calm blue rippling waters of Moreton Bay. (more…)
Put the date in your calendar. As always, the date is chosen to coincide with a very low tide, so that we run on the hard flat sand at the water’s edge.

These events will be run on an official 500 metre decomposed granite track. AURA 48 hour championships, IAU labeling, qualifying race for IAU 24 hr World Challenge.

The Event Closure date has been dropped
Only day entries will incur a 50% increase.
This event was very well supported with entries exceeding 300. This caught us all unexpected. Timing and placings were a mix up, sorry to everyone.
The weather suited us all and I finally after 10years got the tide right. Something had to go right. (more…)
